Hot weekend all over the east coast, although it did not deter my resident squirrel. The saga goes on. The guy from the local plant nursery told me to pick them green. He is right they do ripen in the window. I was almost there with one turning red high up on the plant. this morning the squirrel got it ofcourse not even half eaten.

Georges new bike, he had a nice fathers day ride. I have been battling the squirrel over tomatoes, my new tactic is the guard owl. So far so good. And since Im doing alot of these earrings using the circle with spokes, incorporating a stone or two in central area heres' a different surface treatment. Always hard to decide whether to oxidize or not I usually do some of both. I really like the steely black Liver of Sulfur puts on silver. Same earring different finish as the one in Week 24 post, feel free to chime in as to you preferance.

This is a rather scatterd post Im probably too tired to organize my thoughts. Larkspur was very awesome this year thanks so much to all that came out and supported the craftspeople presenting their work. I did a little trading and purchasing as well. Lisa Oakleys green with orange spiral garden glass ball, my guard owl from Jean Mahaffey. Brad Tucker and his Daughter lizzie. I am a huge Brad Tucker Pottery fan. It was great having friends come visit and stroll the gardens in their favorite sun hats. The laughter and joy of friendship carried us all through the heat. More pictures of things on a stick to come. Still waiting on two more earring weeekly challenge pieces to arrive. these are Betty, Julie & Megan.
